Artist's Biography

Douglas graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. He is a Pennsylvania Gold Key recipient and listed in the Encyclopedia of American Artists. Currently working as a contract designer, his clients include: The New York Times, The NBC Today Show, and Estee Lauder. Douglas has engineered sets, constructed costumes, and developed national products and package designs. Currently living in Chelsea, New York, he spends his summers painting on Long Island, where he annually shows his work at the Pines Art Project Biennial.
